The Second-Hottest Man in my ******'s Basement
Good for Conan. I've always been a fan, if he goes to Fox, then so does my channel.
If Conan gets moved, the terrorists win.
Poor Conan.
I think he and Jimmy Kimmel would make a great lineup on ABC.
Who's to say he didn't behind the scenes? Those NBC executives didn't seem to be thiking soundly or reasonably. He could have just acted the part of the good soldier publicly. Just because he didn't cause a stink about it publicly on national television doesn't mean he liked it. Not many people think it’s a good idea to badmouth their employer, even at that level. I have a hard time feeling that Leno had absolutely no problem being taken off a show he didn't want to leave and also led in the ratings in for some poorly thought out experiment the network wanted to try. Who even makes arrangements for some replacement that many years in advance when there is no reason to do so. Even David Letterman at the time felt sympathy for Leno and talked about how much he was getting screwed over and how bad a decision it was, and he's his biggest rival on another network.
I don't entirely blame O'Brien. In a lot of ways he's as much the victim in this as Leno, but he was handed the keys to a show he shouldn't have gotten yet. On a subjective level I don't even think he's as good as he was at his previous place. Now both of them are out of their element. It's like putting a back up quarterback who’s not as good as your starting pro bowler in just to shake things up and when he doesn't perform as well as some people though realizing a mistake was made.
Poor Conan.

I suppose you can't really know, but that is awfully suspicious of someone who has made no qualms about the fact that he wanted to host The Tonight Show until he retired. I mean, there is also the problem that NBC offered him less money, but a longer tenure as host, and he turned it down for a large monetary sum. I, like you, don't believe that Leno was happy leaving the show, but he did accept the offer, and I'm fairly certain he was apprised of what the meant. Ultimately, looking back, I really feel bad for sort of vilifying Leno, because he really isn't the bad guy, but really just NBCs scapegoat. I just think that Conan should be allowed to do what he was signed to do, especially with the revelation that Conans ratings actually weren't as bad as originally thought to be. Nielson released some new results of late November to the first week of this year, and Conan and Letterman have gone back and forth for the top spot, averaging about 4.2. Leno during the same time has averaged a 2.1 rating.
yeah funny as a ******** pill.
put on Jay at 10 - never ***** better in my life.
I think that he is getting fucked over. He was given the Tonight show a show that has been in its time slot for what like 45 year and now because Leno's primetime show is not a hit they what to bump Conan. I say give Jay Conan's old time slot and let Conan do his show
