Pallets are troubling to see starting to bounce, but you really jump for the door. when a wooden panel the size of 17 x 7 feet, more than a thumb thick starts to flutter like a giant butterfly, just a bit deadlier when you happen to be in the path, when it hits the ground
Or even larger slabs of trees, pretty much just saweed lengthwise, 17 feet, 4 feet wide, and a hand thick. We had to manage those in the storage outside, with the heavy diesel forklifts. Was a lot fun driving these machines, but when the planks started dropping, you were SO fucked.
My fondest night was, when in the club next to our company's storage unit, Creedence Clearwater Revival was playing, "Run Through The Jungle", and I was humming along, pumping that diesel gas pedal
