Sometimes when Im trying to download a movie from Lime Wire I get a notice saying my Windows Media player lacks 1 or more of the codecs needed to play the movie.. this usually only happens with .avi files. I have gone to the Windows website and installed all the codecs they have there but some movies still do not work. Does anyone know how to download the right ones I need?

This is an excellant site to get all the codecs you need. They come in packages so you don't have to find all the individual codecs. Personally, I like the XP codec pack the best, but i've hread great reviews of the K-Lite codec pack. I've installed my codecs from this site but like everything else, read and follow the instructions carefully and install at your own risk.

WMP is lame. I deplore that program. It's a memory hog and it gobbles up all sorts of system resources. Winamp all the way, baby!!! :nanner: :nanner: :nanner:
