Christy Mack for Miss Freeones 2014

Since we all know what happened and so many of us are in a giving mood in the various means available, why not one more means? One that costs us nothing but a moment of our time each day?

If we all decided to vote for Christy in the Miss FO contest in September, we could potentially get her up to $12,000 between all 3 rounds.

What do you guys think?








Also, if this idea has already been expressed, I'm not intentionally trying to steal it, I just hadn't seen it. Nor am I seeking any credit as it would very much be a group effort to accomplish and entirely up to everyone as to if they wished to participate or not.

I concur. I voted constantly for Christy in her triumphant 2013 and I will be doing so again because I am an avid fan of hers even since the scenes finally ran out. On payday I shall be paying into the recovery fund that Kendall set up for her, and any further support I can manage, I will. I hope she has help with all her rescue dog work while she is recovering.

I don't see it as a sympathy vote. Like Stiffy said, enough people thought she was deserving last year to crown her, and this year isn't really any different in that regard. And it's entirely up to each of us as to who we vote for and why. I'm sure there will be a few sympathy votes, but I don't think there will be enough of those to overcome or water down the votes of those who put other thoughts into their vote.

Also, she was a porn star. If she didn't want you enjoying her, she wouldn't have gotten into the business. Just so long as you're not using 'after' photos, I think you're fine.

On a similar note, and do not get me wrong, many of these girls are being abused and hit, Christy's incident was extremely violent and went public but other girls are being abused too, several girls have bruises on their bodies and when asked about it they say they bruise easily, I'm not buying that for more than the half of these girls.

These girls have been with us through our bad times at least we should morally support them, freeones is a reference in adult websites and our voices here can make a difference.

I don't think this is a good idea. Let's be a little pragmatic here and don't consider my remarks as being insensitive. First off, Christy Mack is not the first or last woman to suffer from this kind of a situation. Freeones and Miss Hybrid are currently raising money for other women, those that never make the papers. The thousands of others that pack up their kids and leave the house before the old man comes home from work. Finding strangers kindness with the hope that they will all be safe just for the night and not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

Christy Mack's situation won't change whether she wins this contest or doesn't. She won last year and I'm sure of 2 things. The money and title was a boost to her career and the money and title had nothing to do with her personal relationships. Is another $12K and title going to make things any different for her? I don't know. Will it stop this guy from stalking her? Will it make her not give her house keys to another lunatic? Will it get him arrested?

I only have one vote in this contest and so do you. I'll use it in the spirit of the contest, you do what you want with yours. I've kicked into the fund raising to help some woman I'll never know. I hope you all do the same. But asking to merge the 2 together to send to one model is a knee jerk reaction. Let the rest of the world continue at it's own pace.

I concur with this, and I'll try to sum up my feelings quickly: like bob says, winning won't change her situation and won't prevent such relationships from happening again, to her or to others whose stories we never hear about. While I can appreciate wanting to donate to a victim of abuse, I have to draw the line at donation and not awarding things out of pity or sympathy. There will be people who complain about models flooding the board around the time of the contest and then leaving afterwards, there will be people saying that Christy Mack is being put on a pedestal, let's try and avoid both situations shall we?

This is the kind of statement that bothers me (no offense to you intended, and sorry if I did).

Didn't this happen with that guy, Prince Yashua, when he broke his penis and someone made a Kickstarter asking for money to pay his medical bills and make sure he didn't lose everything? Do people think to save or invest anything they make in the off chance that something prevents them from working? I don't see any pornstars starting any fundraisers to help pay for my mom's medical care, and she was in the same situation that many of those people are (being stigmatized because of her profession). I have no trouble donating money to a worthy cause, but it annoys me that whenever some accident happens in the porn industry suddenly it seems like everybody is being expected to donate because one person or group of people needs help.

Again, this is all just my opinion.

Preaching to the converted, in a sense, I used to sell CIC / ASU insurances and and have a CIC plan myself, and everyone should have some form of "cover your arse" sorted out if they have money they could save or are made aware of insurance options. Millions of otherwise intelligent people don't. But we can dwell on how the world should be, or just deal with it how it is, and people will stick their hands in their pockets if they care enough about the person that's having the problems, even if it's a situation that could be avoided with better foresight. I'm not sure many people have the foresight to plan for the medical bills incurred by the possibility of having their face smashed in by a psychotic ex, but being unable to work, sure.

I dunno, like I say, it's going to be a personal thing. People try to help who is worth helping to them. I've got no problems trying to do what I can for Ms Mack. Hell, I sent $84 to a friend today because his wife's had to have some extra medical treatment the last few months and they're going to struggle to make their rent. And I haven't masturbated to either of them anywhere near as often as I have to Christy. Not even close.

You guys that don't think this is a good idea are welcome to your opinions just as much as any of us, and I'm not gonna get into a back-and-forth with you about why you don't like the idea, because that's not the point. The point is that while Freeones and Miss Hybrid are raising money for abused women generally, a vote for Christy could potentially send the specific victim help. And that maybe you could give that some consideration when you did cast your votes.


If you think it's a good idea, fine, give her some votes. If you don't, fine, vote for someone else.

I'm outraged by what happened to Christy, but here's been a frenzy around this event and on a lot of boards it's turned into a clusterfuck. Justice will be done (hopefully swift and severe) and hopefully, Christy will fully recover and be able to get on with the rest of her life without fear. But some folks have to take a step back and gain some perspective. There would be no talk of Christy repeating had she not been assaulted.
