Christmas Music.

This one was written last Christmas for the singer's baby ********. It's become one of my favorites. ;-)

I can deal with some Christmas tunes. I Am Santa Claus by Bob Rivers & Twisted Radio, Santa Claus And His Old Lady by Cheech & Chong, Christmas by Cledus T. Judd and of course my favorite, Bodies by Drowning Pool...Damn, I must have spent too many years working in retail.

Oh, and one more. Premium Link Upgrade

/\ good point about retail. those of you who work in retail will more than likely despise the stuff more than others.

My one Christmas tradition is that I can never start buying Christmas gifts and decorating my house until I hear that song about Snoopy fighting in WWI on the radio. Best Christmas song ever.

I love Christmas and everything that comes with it, music, movies, etc. But I like it all in December. I **** how stores are decorated right after Halloween. By the time Christmas comes it's the norm. There isn't even usually snow here 'til at least November 20th.

I love it. It plays every waken moment in my place from October through January. Old standards. Some contemporary. Every artist has done them. Some better than others. What are your favorites by what artists. Which ones totally suck.

:nono: October?? Dearest bob, at least wait until you've had your Thanksgiving meal!

Which one?
Aren't there two of them about Snoopy and the Red Baron?

Many stores have to put out their Christmas displays by October 1st. It's sad.
I don't mind starting the Christmas celebration right after Thanksgiving. :) I only have about 1/3 of my decorations up, though...

Ha! Forgot to add my favorite Christmas songs.
I love the ****** Hazel Christmas album, but can't pick a single favorite from it. I do have one that I **** though.
The Sarah McLachlan and Barenaked Ladies version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is amazing.

Which one would that be? Care to enlighten us?

My christmas decorations are going up next week....have to get through Sinterklaas first.

Fun fact...up in friesland (the north easternish part of the netherlands) there's actually a law stating christmas stuff can't go up until Sinterklaas is over on December 5th. Each saint gets it's own limelight. heh

Right here, baby!!

more like all music. i worked in a retail adult store once. the music they played.. my god.

pure ****. over and over and over and over and over again..

Agreed. Doesn't help when they don't even try to update the library. Shania Twain is alright but when you hear "I'm gonna getcha good" about 25 times over an 8 hour work day, your mind starts to wonder and you begin to think long and hard about what you can use to get someone good.

Where I worked in retail during the time I could have patented a wide variety of kitchen and houseware ******* devices that the whole ****** could use.

I **** Christmas all together.

Been in retail most of my life. The day loops they play are the standards most of you are bored with. Overnight the mix changes and you get to hear stuff that doesn't lots of play. Different artists and mostly it is good. Occasionally they will sneak in something from Kathy Lee though.
