No need to bash the girl or her body, obviously.
I will say I do notice that some of her fans tend to be quite odd. I don't know, some of them are just obsessive to the point that it's like they really believe they have a relationship with her, or that there is some sort of a connection between each other. I'm not bashing the fans, mind you, just saying that from my experience they tend to be a bit different than your normal porn fans.
I do think she kind of proves the point, though, about going hardcore and timing the business. If she would have turned hardcore back in, say, 2002, she could have been absolutely huge. She had a big cult following online already and could have made a fortune and been a headliner, top-of-the-industry type porn stars. All she had to do was cut the teaser stuff and let loose in front of the camera. She could have done some truly bad porn scenes and still made a million guys bust their nuts everywhere and pay damn good money for the pleasure of doing so.
As for how she looks now, I think a lot of her pictures are just plain bad and the concept is all off (much more so than the body and the face). The lighting usually sucks, the backdrops always blend in, and in general I think she and her managers are just trying to pull off something they can't do anymore. I figure Christina is in her early-to-mid 30's at this point, yet they still try to pull off this persona of an 18-19 year old girl in her shoots, and it just doesn't work.
I think if they just let her relax, shoot it to her actual age and development, and get some better production values that it would be a much better product. Don't get me wrong, she's not the busty goddess that they tried to portray her as for so long, but there are a ton of girls in porn who aren't as pretty and don't have the body of Christina. I think this whole deal just shows you the importance of production and management.
