Good video and very informative. Thanks for sharing. Glad they covered it up, lets hope none of the radiations(if any) escape.

It's been like 30 years since this accident. Nuclear stuff takes thousands of years to neutralize. Who would ever want to go in there and clean up that shit? Some kind of cancer is going to affect your body. Sure there are protective suits, but these suits have to be taken off for the workers to get out of that nuclear shit they are digging through. How do they eat their lunch? I guess that for enough of a paycheck some older folks can measure their remaining years and take the gamble. I'm glad that something is being done to clean up that mess.

I watched a documentary on the disaster not too long ago and it's a tourist attraction now. I didn't see anyone wearing chemical suits/masks.

Building a hermetically sealed steel dome over dangerous buildings sounds like a very good idea on how to deal with the Trump White House.

If they had not contained the nuclear reactors back in 1986, the fallout could have made most of Europe uninhabitable, and most of the people in Europe would have had to evacuate to other continents.

A steel dome? I would think that even if it was still active they would use lead and concrete. You better find a better news source my Brutha

when that one leaks they will build another
I wonder how many layers of coverings they will need in 100 years time

It's a temporary fix. They say they will clean the radioactive material by 2065.
This is in the Ukraine, so by that time Russia may have annexed Chernobyl.
If Putin has his way, we may see the rise of the USSR again this century.
I hope that never happens and communism dies out, or transforms into more open socialism, in China, N. Korea, Cuba and all other red commie states.
