Cheney Hospitalized for Atrial Fibrillation

WASHINGTON (Nov. 26) - Vice President Dick Cheney, who has a history of heart problems, experienced an irregular heartbeat Monday and will be evaluated at George Washington University Hospital.

The condition was detected when Cheney was seen by doctors for a lingering cough from a cold.

"During examination he was incidentally found to have an irregular heartbeat, which on further testing was determined to be atrial fibrillation, an abnormal rhythm involving the upper chambers of the heart," said spokeswoman Megan Mitchell.

Can't say that I would ever wish something like this on anybody, but I shed no tears for this criminal. All I can say is, thank God he's not going to run for presidente.

This has been going on forever. This is heart condition number...10, for him? What a sad way to live. I'd rather be poor and healthy than rich and have a plastic heart thingamajiggy like him. Money can't buy you happiness.

I believe he did. But, he's too old now and his condition is a degenerative one. So, there's no way of fixing it. He might as well eat steaks and cheeseburgers.
