I saw a little bit of that. I didn't really like it, the dudes in it were way too gnarly for me to enjoy the women, and besides that, it was like they were doing some sort of square dancing or something, because it was like someone was calling all the moves and all of them would do the same thing with their partner. There were no double, triple penetrations, wild pile sex stuff, which is what I expected. It was just 500 couples and a wide camera angle.

Yeah. Seems so...Japanese? Ie; Very organized and qualified. Well thought out and planned and nary an iota of spontaneity. Like something the Germans would do.

I guess if your going for sheer numbers it seems wise to keep it organized and the way they put them up in rows is a striking image. But it's not quite the Roman/Bacchanalian orgy one might hope for.
