Just to clarify something here.
After just one month, the body wouldn't have been fully decomposed, in other words there would still have been measureable DNA after only 30 days. Remember, the body wasn't actually recovered for 6 months! During that time, the hot weather, rain (including a hurricane) took care of any forensic evidence. The girl's flesh, most of her clothing, much of the plastic bags that she was wrapped in were all gone, but yet somehow the duct tape was still on her naked skull even AFTER all the flesh that the tape was sticking to had melted away. Doesn' that make anybody stop and wonder?
My THEORY is that someone abducted the girl, killed her, and when it became clear the investigation was focused soley on Casey (because of her incredibly stupid choice to go out for drinks at a club and not immediately call police), the suspect quickly moved the body from whereever it had been hidden back to within a 1/2 mile of the Anthonys' home (an area which had already been searched by rescuers who at that time found NOTHING) and put the duct tape on the rotting face -- thus letting Casey take the fall. It's not a perfect theory, but it beats the hell out of the B.S. that both the defense and the state presented, IMO :dunno:
What do y'all think?
