Carmella Bings getting fatter?

I do play nice. The US does have people that are overweight. We are not all overweight. Have you ever been to England? I do not think dental care is a major priority to people there like it is in the US.
True, or it may be that we don't want to all look the same with the same fake looking teeth. Why does everyone in the US have braces fitted as standard when young? Or is it just what I have seen in the movies/tv? Maybe its to reduce their food intake. . .if so its not working! :D

"Everyone" doesn't.........it's just what we've been conditioned to believe:that everything on everyone has to be someone's standard of perfect, you know,blonde,blue-eyed,criminally thin....

I think it is because we want to have nice straight teeth. When you talk people tend to look at your face and teeth. It is much easier and usually cheaper to lose weight then it is to get nice teeth. :wave2:

Considering I live in the US and I see plenty of people that are not fat you are wrong. Every country has some overweight people. To say that the US is full of only fat people is like saying England is full of people with shitty teeth.

He's not wrong. THe person he responded to said that it's NOT common to be fat in the US. That statement is wrong since almost 70% of the people in America are overweight.

Wow. You try to defeat one stereotype with another. You've been trying to fight against the incorrect image of pornstars not being smart, but you're not doing a very good job of it.

I didn't claim "all" Americans were overweight, but it has one of the highest percentages of obese people on the planet, more than anywhere in Europe, and you can not deny that.

I think she was only pointing out the sillines of making generalizations about a particular group of people to prove how hurtful/offensive that it can be. I don't think she is making any claims.

I always thought that most pornstars were not 'average' & don't represent the 'average' American girl, but in fact most represent our ideal woman. Most women feel intimidated/threatened by pornstars/actresses because they do not live up to those standards. So to lump Pornstars in with the 'supposed' obese American public based upon the faulty height to weight(BMI ?) indexes is a mistake.

Besides there is an obvious market for women like Carmella Bing(considering the fans who have chimed in ) & I have never understood why some people make it a prority it seems to attack them.

I don't think many fans on Porn boards are Phi Beta Kappa so I don't think we should be stereotyping anyone's intelligence.

If you don't want to be stereotyped as a fat American, then don't stereotype every English person for having bad teeth.

for the record, I think Carmella has a stunning body, the curves suit her. She's one of my favourite pornstars.

Exactly a stereotype. This thread was not about Americans being fat. It was about a model that a person had thought gained weight. You and another person started saying Americans were fat. So I pointed out a stereotype that all English people have bad teeth. If you don't like what was said, then maybe you should learn to stick to the topic of a thread and not try and change it.

You always try and turn threads into a topic that you want. You can't hijack every thread and expect people to kiss your ass about it.

Thank you. I was making that exact point.
