God, I love Carl's Jr and have since I was a kid. Tonight I had their great Guacamole Bacon 1/2lb Thickbuger for dinner and the Original 1/2lb Six Dollar Thickburger as a Midnight Snack after my drinkie-poo-poos. I think I may open up a Carl's Jr/Hardee's in The Philippines one day when I move there with my sweet little wifey. Yippee...

Used to be a Hardee's in Nacogdoches, but it closed down years ago. Carl's Jr. came to Lufkin for a few years, but I haven't been. I stick with Jack In The Box for chain burgers, but would rather spend my $$ at a local mom and pop that does real burgers.

On the North coast, we only really have 5 Guys Burgers, outside of the major micky Dees or burger King crappie. But we have a few really good mom and pop burger placea.

fat burger looks expensive and with the round edges- seems like I am paying 2 bucks for special edges.
if its square maybe it was cut from a meatslab and help with why the kfc is always out of toilet paper.

Carl's Jr. also does a good breakfast. I like their biscuits and burritos. I miss the Chorizo & Egg Burrito and wish they would bring it back but the Steak & Egg Burrito is pretty tasty too.

I think they still have the sampler plate- but its not on menu- they will prepare it- I liked the biscuits but noticed ther got small after a couple years-

all fast food things get smaller on items after introduction

the 2 dollar big carl used to have all kinds of tomato and lettuce

First chance I Hardee's I was taken by the way they take your order then give you a flag for your table. The food came out fast enough and staff was attentive enough like at a diner. Recently my brother and I stopped into a McD's and they had a similar thing. Order and pay on a touch screen and avoid the line. Take a marker and get your table. It was a fail. People that did the line after our order were much faster to get food. The kids running the food out were confused and orders were being fucked up. We both ordered the same meal except mine was medium and his was large. Both our drinks and fries were the same size. Didn't complain, just laughed it off.
