Yes, if NHL hockey was as exciting as Olympic Hockey, then it would be worth watching. Unfortunately, that's not the case. The NHL doesn't get interesting until the playoffs start. Knowing my luck though, the Blackhawks will suffer some unforeseen catastrophe that will ultimately jeopardize the season. Fuck, why do I even watch sports? All of my teams fucking blow...

Not being on ESPN in the US is what has ****** off interest in the NHL in the U.S. The NHL isn't afraid to make rules changes for the fans. Maybe they need to tighten up some rules to get back to 3-2 games instead of 7-6 games:dunno:

I was just reading Yahoo! News, and while I don't give two shits and a flying fuck about the Olympics to be quite honest (I am an American who only enjoys the opening ceramonies of either the Summer or Winter games, but the events themselves? Double blah to all). But congrads on the Canadians for winning, since it is more of less ya'lls National Sport/past time, ect.

Plus I have two e-mail penpals/long-term friends who I'm gonna meet up with one day (one married on Vancouver Island, the other an east coast Canadian who was born in London but ****** ex-pated to the greater Toronto area in the 'burbs when she was six) who have a ton in common with me and are beyond cool people. Very intelligent, nice and laid back even with general craziness in they're lives (as we all have). So yeah, Go Canada (even though I'm against Patriotism and ****, and I'm not from there). *waves to all*

All I have to say is USA=youngest team in the olympics this year. In four years they might even be better if some of that tallent from the younger USA squads comes to fruition.

If they'd have played like they did against the Fins in the first period against Canada, you would have lost. And all the neutral zone defensive BS you guys were pulling made the game boring. Aside from that, your guys outworked us for every damn corner or side board skirmish and that was what won it. All those little battles. Plus Miller gave up his worst goal of the tournament. :crash:

I always felt for the goalies when we lost a big one. No one takes losses harder. Miller looked like his damn dog died after they interviewed him afterword.

Yeah, we did beat them. We beat every damn team. I would've loved to have seen us play the Russians. How cool that would have been.

Why Anaheim and Columbus? They have strong fan bases there.
