Camgirls soliciting gifts

I was browsing through Camwithher.com when I noticed some of the girls asking for gifts and actually making lists on the amazon.com registry. I get why they do it, but i find this to be a huge turn off. And I think that any guy that would buy them gifts is stupid. What do you guys think?

Hi there, I'm actually a camgirl from CamWithHer.com and noticed this post...err...rant.

Firstly.....I'm here to say that the wishlists are no longer there. A few asshats have made things difficult by trying to snag our private info from Amazon...and well, its just getting unsafe for us girls. In the place of wishlists however, we have enabled a way for guys to get us e-gift cards sent to an email account that the administrators of the site forwards to us....not quite the same, but definitely alot of fun for both parties.

Having said that...it may be a turn off to you to see us girls publically posting a way to have guys spoil us...but for the guys who are members of the site, and guys who buy shows from us...the majority of them love spoiling us girls and its a way to show they appreciate us. Also, as mentioned, alot of guys really love seeing an outfit that they personally purchased for a model...turns them on to see their handiwork be showcased for all to see. If its not your thing,thats fine, but its really not fair of you to come here and not only bash us girls for doing that, but bashing the guys out there who are generous enough to spoil our little hineys. I'm going to guess that you haven't really been around CWH long enough to experience the community that is there, between the blogs and forums. The members of the forum and of the site all get to know each other and us girls and I'd feel confident saying that CWH really is one of the tighter knit communities on the web, at least from a camsite point of view. Guys like getting us xmas gifts, gifts for our birthdays etc...nothing at all wrong with that and we all totally appreciate all of the gifts bought for us in the past and will continue to appreciate the generosity of the lovely men who like making us smile

I was just giving Spartan here the point of view of one of those "soliciting camgirls" that he speaks of, and the points of view of the "stupid guys" that buy stuff for us. "guys spoiling us" sounds kinda creepy. i dated a girl who worked at a strip club, it was pretty upscale place, her number one complaint was "furniture" ,guys who apparently lost track of what was going on and used the place as their whole life basically,spoiling the girls sounds like something they would attempt to get the attention.

That's the point. It's pretty pathetic, especially when they're not even going out on a date with a girl. And to the D-rock's post, I know guys buy them lingerie to wear for their "performances" but what do they get out of it? And it goes beyond that. The ones I saw were asking for Jewelry and things like that. I'll never understand it, but then, I wouldn't piss on a gold-digger if she was on fire.

I can only hope that they realize that 90% of these girls have boyfriends and just about everything they say on a forum/blog is a way to get people to join their site. Yes, you're right, I do have a boyfriend. However I make that known on the forums and blog, and most of the guys I chat with don't mind. Some even get turned on by it. And if you really knew what the CWH forums were about, you'd know that there is very little flirting that goes on there. Its actually more discussion based about world issues, or even random things like sports, cars, technology and bacon. Yes, I said bacon. I'm not fake, nor do I try to spam myself to get more people to join my site. Have you seen me spam once on these forums? No. I belong to other forums, but if you pay attention there, I just go there to join in on the conversation, and once in awhile post pics for the guys who ask for them or enjoy them.

There is nothing wrong with accepting a gift from a customer if he so wishes to give it. If an aquaintance of yours offered YOU a gift, would you be so rude as to turn it down?

Why do you get so defensive? If you read my "rant" I said that I understand why you do it, but I think whoever gives you a gift is a loser.

No, i have never visited the CWH forums but i´m a member of several other similar(?) forums. I didn´t say all girls are only there to spam their site, but many are. How else would you explain the fact that almost every girl that no longer have a site to promote vanishes without a trace from the forum the second she no longer have any economical reason to post? If she really were interested in the conversation you would think she´d like to keep in touch with her "friends".
I don´t know what i have to be jealous about. I don´t seek the attention of the models, i get some attention because of the graphics work i do (hell, some girls have even given me free passes to their sites). If anything i tend to ignore the models, i guess mostly because i don´t wanna come off as some sort of creepy stalker. If i wanted attention i would start making "sexy" wallpapers instead of the dark, fucked up stuff i´m making now.

And yes, if i were female and someone i know very superficially from a pornsite offered me a present i would be so rude to turn it down, i would probably be scared to even leave the house of fear of some psycho stalker with a butcher knife.
