I can't really get too exited about the campaign when I'm sure that it won't be any longer than 6 hours of gameplay.Sorry,but that ain't worth 60 bucks no matter how you cut it.
18 is the longest killstreak. They're actually called point streaks now. Kills aren't the only way to build your streak. 2 kills plus a flag capture will count as 3 points towards a point streak, and I think 2 assists count as 1 kill in a point streak. You don't get credit for a kill, it's only for streaks.

good to know. I might actually get some cool shit this time around then. I like how they are divided based on if your class is set up as assault or support. Some of the new perks are nice too.

me too, now that I think I fixed my PS3. Will have to give that time to see if I did or not. But after reassembally it still runs, so that's a good sign. Anyway, gotta wait till wensday at the earliest. Gamefly shipped it today. Most likely will be thursday
It's not going to be as good as Battlefield 3. I have Black Ops but in my opinion the Call of Duty series is way too overrated.

Legz,you do understand that there is an enormous,and growing I might add,opinion that COD is very overrated considering that it has done absolutely nothing different in the series for quite some time,right?
Giving the facepalm to someone just because they don't like playing a short campaign and a multiplayer that's pretty much been status quo seems to be very ignorant.If you are a fan,that's cool,but for the rest of us that aren't fans,yeah,it's a very overrated series.
I must admit though,the campaign looks like it could be really cool,but unfortunately,I'm sure that it's just as short as the rest of them,and more than likely not worth the $60 price tag.I'll give it a rental though.
It's Battefield that's way overrated and extremely overhyped. It's made out to be things awesome thing it's not. MW does it fifty times better than BF wil ever do it. In the single player campaign mode that is. I don't give a bastard fuck what MP is like for both games. MP doesn't interest me unless it's co-op in single player splitscreen. Other than that it's single player only for me. And MW pisses on BF from a very high height in terms of single player fun and immersion and controls.

I was referring to him saying battlefield is better. From people who I know personally who've played it they all say it sucks. I played the beta and was very disappointed. Granted it was just a beta, but it was so bad I didn't have much hope for the final copy.
Honestly,there's no real way or reason to really compare the two.BF was made more for the PC and has a very extensive usage of vehicles,where MW is just a twitch shooter.I'm not saying that one is better than the other,but I just can't understand how people can proclaim one to be better when they are kinda comparing apples and oranges.The only thing that they have in common is that they are both fruit.Just because you like apples better,doesn't automatically mean that they universally are.
TBH,I didn't really like the beta either,nor will I ever get the game,but that's because I'm more use to the faster play style of MAG,and slower paced shooters aren't my cup of tea.
Better finish MW3 because the next one is around the corner

Should be a MW2 Map pack. Definitely not worth the $60.

i havnt bought either game yet, planning on gettin both eventually. but from what ive read and watched on G4, MW3 campaign is way better that BF3. theyre sayin that BF really dropped the ball with that one. but its multiplayer is top notch for the slow and meticulous team work players.
on the other hand, you have COD, whos online play has always been fast paced for those who like to run and gun. but the new steak awards in MW3 are giving slower players a chance to beef up their playing to have a chance against the head shot kings.
so when it comes down to it, its really just what you like when you play. but ive always been a COD fan, hands down

Seriously. I don't know the names of the maps yet, but one is basically Favela. One is Invasion. One is Sub Base/Derailed combined. One is Quarry. One looks like Terminal. It's crazy. I was hoping for new maps, not maps that live beside the old MW2 maps.
