Here's the deal.
I am nearing the end of my lease in two days. I have been told by the bank that holds the title to my leased vehicle that I can use my ride as a trade-in.
Great.
The bank tells me that my car is only worth $9571.42, but when I went to open a new savings account at a credit union, I was told my car was estimated at $11,000 something. (I had my VIN# checked for free)
WTF?
There are some real great deals out there. One I noticed in our local paper is the Pontiac G6 for $8299. Brand new!
No money down, AC.. Power everything.
I was also curious about the new Dodge Caliber or maybe a used Toyota Matrix?
I know I should have posted this on a "car forum" but I didn't want to go through all that register bullshit when I feel I know you guys already.
Put it this way, I don't want a high car payment...I want to be smarter about my next car purchase.
A friend told me to avoid anything GM. Would that be a Ford Focus too?
