From what I'd heard elsewhere the issue was in regards to customer complaints, just like we'd seen in January with Denny's. While the officers no doubt showed their credentials to the waitress, it was the other patrons who were ill at ease.

Details are sketchy as to what actually happened afterwards. According to your own article they weren't asked to leave (and if they were, well, your article is from Fox, they would have put that shit in bold). What it seems happened is that the waitress went to consult her manager on how to handle the situation, and when this happened the officers left in order to cut short the scene they were making, though after reviewing several sources the details here are somewhat unclear. We do have official word, however, that no one was kicked out, and that apologies were issued on behalf of the restaurant.

What I wanna know is, does BW3 have a no concealed carry policy? Even before they passed a law in Ohio, LEO's were permitted to carry anywhere they liked, including bars, and in some cases departments require their officers to carry at all times. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, a LEO is sworn by oath to intervene if he sees a felony being committed. How are you going to do that, without a firearm. In a lot of cases, plain clothes cops have their badges on their belts, right next to their weapon.

Virginia has concealed weapons permits. Unless the business has a sign stating no guns, then a citizen with a CW permit has the right to bring their gun. I not sure if alcohol is served if that makes a difference.
