its been a while since ive posted in this thread, but bryci makes me proud to be canadian. My onlu suggestion james is a trial membership for the site, something like 6$/48 hours trial.
Sorry man, Trial memberships are somewhat of a scam IMO. You will pretty much never see a CCbill site doing those because of the way their system is. Instead, you'll find Nats based sites doing those, what that means... and you may have seen this already, is you sign up and you get limited access and they sort of upsell you to the full membership. So in the end, inside 20-30 minutes you end up buying a full membership anyway, so you end up paying the full rate plus the trial rate... thus why I think it's kind of a scam. Nice way to rip off the customer though for sites doing this.
I myself have joined sites with trials and I always feel like, wtf is this junk? They give you access to maybe 2% of the site... so rather than piss people off by scamming them the way other sites with trials do, we just do it the way we do.
The reason sites don't offer full memberships, you get guys that sign up and try to do a site rip or download everything in the site for their trial price. haha. Can't say as I blame them, but yeah... in short, trial memberships offer waaay more headaches for webbies. Thus why we stay clear.
