Gator tail is good fried.
Just don't think about roadkill gator. Seriously, I've run over one (after a semi or something big had already hit it). Needless to say getting some skin off the bottom of my car wasn't fun. The joys of living in Florida.
Gator, Sharks, Coral Snake, Eastern Diamondback, Canebrake Rattlesnake, Pygmy Rattlesnake, Water Moccasin, Copperhead,, all can kill, but some are tasty.
I've eaten Diamondback, shark meat, gator tail, water moccasin, if done right, snake meat is pretty good.
Not keen on trying the coral snake though lol...

ive had rattlesnake too. not bad at all. and shark, pft, ive had a ton. i used to fish for leopard sharks almost daily, those were good eats. even shovel nose shark. not bad. and angel sharks too. nom. both untouched commercially so i felt good about that. besides, 99/100 it was catch and release.

McGator's no. I got that. I may be wrong but isn't there some sort of law against poaching gators down there? I know about them being on menus but I thought there was some sort of protection too.
In Florida there is a limited hunting season and tags to go around, but pretty much all meat (and skin and skulls) around is farm raised.
There is also limited nuisance gator stuff as well.
