Booming Recession Businesses - Name em

Campbell's Soup and other companies that mass produce canned goods. They're relatively cheap, plus, people buy canned goods when they fear that the end of the world is on the horizon. Since people are over-reactive morons, canned goods are flying off the shelves.

It's funny too, because the price on canned goods has gone UP, yet, people are still buying them. Chef Boyardee cans used to be 10 for $10 at my grocery store, but now they're 2 for $3. Yet...people are still buying them just as fast as the grocery store can put them on the shelves.

As far as cheap quick prepared meals, it seems to me that frozen foods seem to be a better value like Banquet for instance.

Postal Paranoiac
Verizon Wireless--just hired a bunch of store managers here locally.
Health care--Always a good bet if you like shitty hours, a shitty job, but a pretty much guaranteed paycheck.
Law enforcement--Being a cop takes training. So be a security guard. The pay sucks but you'll have access to all kinds of freebies.
Interior remodeling/Carpentry--Another apprenticeship position, but get in and the pay and conditions are good: lots of empty, foreclosed homes and apartments.
Advertising--People won't be working. So what'll they do? Watch TV and compute on the Net, that's what.
Nigerian E-mail scam specialist--Just don't get caught.

I read somewhere that Kraft measure the economy by the amount of Macaroni and Cheese that they sell. It usually goes up during recessions.
