This might sound ridiculous, but I'm going to be living in the Czech Republic for a year and was thinking about writing a book about the modeling/porn star culture of Eastern Europe (Hungary and Slovakia, but Czech Republic specifically) and I thought it would be interesting to write a book about those both in and out of the business...like the end of the movie (when it's true life) and you wait around the theatre wondering how how the main characters' lives turned out.
What would be the questions you guys (and gals) would be most curious about? What current and former stars would you be most interested in (especially Czech and Slovak models/actresses)?
I'm specifically thinking about women that are older and out of the business (30-50 year olds), because their perspective would be the most interesting.
Something along the lines of when Playboy revisits a past Playmate and does a "how she is now" follow-up with some pictures and updates on her life since Playboy...
Here are some of the questions I've thought of for interviews...
1) How did you originally get involved in the adult industry? What were your original aspirations in life when you were growing up? When you were in high school?
2) Would you do it over again, if you had that decision make? Why/why not?
3) What, if anything, did you enjoy about working in the adult film industry?
4) If you were running an adult film company or website, how would it be different from the ones that are currently most successful?
5) Does the industry have a responsibility to help women that are no longer able to perform or deemed "desireable"? Like pensions or retirement funds or emergency "loans" available?
6) What did you do with the money while you were working? Did you invest it wisely? What would you do differently, if anything, from a business standpoint to create a better future for you and your future husband and children?
7) What would your reaction be if you found out your daughter wanted to follow in your footsteps?
8) How do you feel about the current plastic surgery phenomenon around the world?
9) Do you have any piercings or tattoos you regret getting?
10) What advice, if any, would you give to women or girls that want to follow in your footsteps?
11) Do you think becoming a "porn/adult performer" will ever be acceptable in the mainstream?
12) What were some of the things you never thought you would do (taboos) that you crossed once you started in the industry? Why, besides money, did you change your mind?
13) Why do so many porn stars come from your country?
14) What are your plans for the future?
15) Is is possible to be a performer in the adult industry and not somehow be psychologically scarred or damaged as a result?
16) Will men always be fascinated with lesbian scenes?
