Well, it appeared to me at the time that you started in response to someone and then something happened and it went wrong due to technical difficulties, so you decided to make good use of a post gone bad and show that you definitely qualify, Mandy, but I didn't see anything above your post that would cause you to post that, hence the question.
But this morning, I just thought of a second option, that you meant it more in response to the thread as a whole and its title giving you the excuse and you were attempting to be humorous. And that option 2 is probably the right answer.
