Blair - 'God made me do it'

Well, not quite..

But Mr Blair seems to be following the Bush line (no surprises there) of excusing the Iraq war on religious grounds.
He said "If you believe in God (the judgement) is made by God."

I doubt very much that any 'God' would want innocent people ****** Mr Blair, no matter what the circumstance.

IMO.. there's little difference between Bush/Blair and their 'We do this for our God' attitude and the Islamic militants who also 'Do this for our God'.
You have two opposing sides who both 'believe' that what they are doing is right...is he just a step away from being a fanatical christian? (if such a title exists).

I'm not suggesting that Bush/Blair themselves are terrorists, but claiming that war is excusable because a 'higher being' approves, just smacks of a lack of personal responsibility by Mr Blair.

Does this mean I can knock down a mugger in my car and claim it was the 'christian' thing to do?...
yeah, good luck convincing a court of that.
