What annoys me is whenever I see a black Friday ad, the ads usually show ppl of color holding shopping bags smiling as if they won the lottery

than the one shopping day of the year Americans show their greed and lack of empathy for their fellow human beings.

Now now Petra, don't be hasty. Americans do that every day of the year.

Only poor people and others who can't afford it go shopping for deals on Black Friday.

Hey, I got a 65" Smart LED 3D 4K Ultra HD TV. Really? That's awesome. You're still on food stamps and you still live in government subsidized housing. You don't even health insurance. Way to keep your priorities in line.

It's all about greed quite frankly. I said nothing about self esteem. I just dont' have the patience for all that nonsense.

Y'all taking this way too seriously. Shoppers love it. Plan the day, camp out in front of a store. Battle parking and long lines. It really is a social thing. As much as you read about the fist fights and trampling that goes on, that is only in rare instances and gets blown up thanks to the news. They know how silly it is but it's the thrill of the hunt. Pick up a few goodies for yourself too. This is also a huge restaurant and movie weekend. Lighten up folks.

I didn't partake in Black Friday.... the deals aren't as alluring in Canada. I saw something on Twitter that said:

"Black Friday in America: Get 75% off these shoes and get 4 more pairs free!
In Canada: Spend $300 and save 10% off this set of salad bowls"

Not too far off from the truth :laugh:

Here's what I saw many years back. 5yo *** is ****** to his grandfather that another *** got the last Hulk Hogan figure. Grandpa tells grandson if he wants it then go take it from him. Grandson walks up to the other ***, who is now on line at the register next to his ******, and from behind sucker punches him and takes the Hulk Hogan. *** starts yelling at the grandson yanking the Hulk from him. Grandpa gets into a tug of war with the ***. It was fucking hilarious.

Haha, it's total craziness. I stay well away from any building with a sale sign on it. Usually I spend the day recovering from my food **** anyway! Hahaha
