"Bird" Flu

It's only a matter of time before it reaches here. I worry not only about the impact it could have on human health, but that if it gets bad enough and they have to **** off enough birds that it might jack up the price of things like chicken and turkey that a lot of people like me use as a cheaper source of meat than beef and pork.

Oh, I think we are in for that for sure, even if it's just an excuse to get the price up.

A case of bird flu has been confirmed after the death of chickens at a **** in Conwy.
On Thursday, Wales's chief vet confirmed it was a H7N2 strain of bird flu, not the more virulent H5N1 strain of the virus.
