Bio Edits

Guys I am on it, got the same problem. However only in FireFox.

Will have it fixed asap!

I just tested the bio edits. Right now it seems it's working IF you are logged into MyFreeOnes but it's not working if you're submitting edits anon.

So until we get the not logged in edits fixed, just make sure you're logged in. As you should be anyways. ;-)

Bio edits still have a remaining bug

There is still a remaining problem with the bio edits and I feel that I have not expressed myself well enough to get it recognized and corrected. So I will now try to explain the problem in explicit enough terms.

When one tries to make a change in the babe bio and one of the proposed changes has happened recently and has not been approved, the resulting page tells shows it. In an example case I tried to update the bio of Jana Miartusova to show that she has implants now. Here's a screenshot of what happens after I click submit on the form page:

Premium Link Upgrade

That's fine, it works as it should. No buggy behaviour there, I'm sure that this change has really been attempted before (probably with no sources or comments at all, so it didn't get approved). However, since I am absolutely sure that this information is correct, I still press "Yes" to wait and see when that info gets checked and updated to her bio. I put the sources in the comments section of the bio submit form, so there shouldn't be a problem in making that change. But then, this is what I see after clicking yes:

Premium Link Upgrade

Where did that data disappear? It should show a summary of the changes that I have tried to make, but instead there is just an empty field. I have tried this many times on many different babe profiles and the result is always the same if some of the information had been previously disapproved. Additionally I don't get any email that concerns those changes that I have tried to do. I have the email notification option enabled in my profile, have seen the summary correctly and have gotten email on other bio edits (whether disapproved or approved) if I didn't try to touch a field that led to this.

This time I haven't tested with anything other than Firefox 3.0.19. I still have to do this on FF 3.6.3 to be completely certain that it isn't the browser version causing this. However, it doesn't seem likely as that would indicate a serious problem with Firefox (mis)handling the HTTP POST method. I haven't seen Firefox do this on other forms that use POST.

What's worst in this is that not only the disapproved change disappears immediately as one tries to submit it; if there is any other information entered on the other info fields, all of that disappears to /dev/null as well. The only warning is that empty final confirmation field that leaves you wondering "What just happened? Did I just lose everything that I tried to submit?". Then it's too late, all of the info is indeed lost. As a result of this, I have taken the habit of saving all of the bio changes to a text file prior to trying to submit it here.

Of course, this whole thing has proven to be quite frustrating and irritating at times. Please fix this. I have encountered this problem way before these other documented problems appeared. At that time, I ended up just ignoring it and trying to only change those stats that weren't previously disapproved. Now I finally got to reporting this in what is hopefully sufficient detail to get it fixed.

Oh, remembered one more (small) bug: in some cases when the model birthdate is not known and I'm editing her bio, it falsely assumes that I'm trying to change the birthdate to an empty value and shows that in the summary. As expected, that change always gets disapproved. I would prefer that it wouldn't even try to submit a clearly invalid date value.

Hey, thanks a lot for this detailed post. I will check this myself again asap!

Thats the same problem I have!
I wanna change Syren Lee's Bio and Yurizan Beltran's Bio to natural tits, but it doesn't work!

Status report on fixing this would be appreciated. Tried it again and the bug remains.

Re: Bio edits still have one small bug remaining

I have to return to this thread once more. There's still this thing that bothers me a bit:

It happens even when I haven't touched the birthdate at all while editing. Additionally, I just made one edit that had this issue and the empty birthdate got approved..? No big deal though, probably just a human error from whoever in the FreeOnes team checks the bio edits..
