I really enjoyed Game of Thrones season 1 and I want to get into Breaking Bad. I've heard good things.

The best show to ever air on tv is The Shield.

From the first episode to the last,I've yet to see anything that rivals it.

Battlestar Galactica was pretty fucking awesome too(until the last episode,which sucked).

I'm really late to the game on this but just got done with the first season of Dexter and loved it. How are the rest of the seasons?

The first and fourth seasons are considered the best, I believe is the general consensus. The other three aren't bad, they just aren't as good.

For me, it's Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, and Dexter (at least in terms of new shows within the past 5 years). If I were to go into all-time and more depth, I'd be here for a while.

I am currenty addicted to "Leverage". It's network, so I remember to be forgiving of the holes in the plot line, but I love the show, and Gina Bellman is an acting genius.

And to the above poster: Battlestar Galactica sucked waaaay before the last episode. Admit it, we all stay tuned only for the hot Korean babe. Admit it!!!

not the 'best', but recently I was able to digest Sons Of Anarchy (1&2) and all of Mad Men on Netflix instant queue

SoA was simplistic and repetitive, but enjoyable

Mad Men, was completely retarded. I have no idea why people think that was a good show other than Christina Hendricks. The show is boring as fuck
