best shootout ever?

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
That's the one.

"You're a daisy if you do..."

Actually, I think the best part of it is Kilmer's little smirk and wink, followed by Thomas Hayden Church's total change in expression that leads Kurt Russell to go

"Oh my god..."

And then the blasting starts!

H

Hell yeah!! I love when he says Oh my god.. then all hell breaks loose!! THAT WAS SWEET!!!

Leon - SWAT assault

Also has one of my favourite Gary Oldman quotes...

"Get me everyone"
"What do you mean everyone?"
"EEEEEVVVVVVVVEEEEEEERRRRRRYYYYYYYYOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEE!!!!!"

.

I just watched that scene again via your link so I could remember when he said EVERYONE! that was great!! I swear I totally forgot about that shootout! I loved that film!

I have too admit even though I titled this thread best shootout ever!!

My all-time favorite scenes are the dome shots!! (VICTIM IS SHOT IN THE HEAD!!)

I know all you of you board members out there prolly have a great example of somebody getting shot in the head in certain movies or TV shows that you remember vividly or standout in your mind??

Anybody who replies please share your favorite headshots or shootouts??:D:hatsoff:

Shootouts - The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

Headshots - Scarface (it's been awhile - memory may fails on me but there was one or two headshots in there - one were Tony Montana aka Al Pacino keep discussing with a guy he headshoted)

That's tough. I like any Clint Eastwood related shoot out. I like all the Dirty Harry movies, but those aren't very shoot out oriented, they are more one shot kills. Scarface is a fucking great choice Dawn, I totally agree, and with the GB&U.

Heat, Scarface, and the first Terminator movie when he shoots up the police station

Favorite headshots were in The Departed. "She fell funny"

I also vote for The Magnificent Seven.

The greatest shootout ever was at the end of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Angel Eyes, Tuco and Blondie all going against each other in a three-way out in Spanish desert in a circle of stone with Enio Morricone's music swelling the suspense, with quick shots of their eyes, until finally the scene blows up. Tuco's gun is empty and Blondie knows that and shoots Angel Eyes first.

The opening scene of Once Upon a Time in the West is second.

Scarface is third.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Ok, am I going to be the one who has to say it? SIGH, I guess so...

Heat is one of the most over-rated movies that has ever been created and the gun fight(s) that are in it fit into the same category. If that movie didn't have the hype of "Robert Deniro AND Al Pacino", nobody would claim that they liked it.

With that being said, I'm going to go with an old classic...

The final shootout in Hondo, with John Wayne, as the Indians circle the wagons and a battle ensues. Why? Because...

1) John Wayne. Enough said.
2) Classic movies are a million times better than all of the modern movies that come out. Seriously, almost all modern shootouts are the most unrealistic garbage I have ever seen. It's usually 1 or 2 good guys who have peashooters and extremely limited ammo, going up against 15 or 20 bad dudes with high-tech, semi-automatic assault rifles and a truck full of bullets...and the 1 or 2 good guys ALWAYS WIN!!! It's so fucking stupid and I hate it. RAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!! :cussing:

I agree with the Heat, Professional, Scarface being some of the best ever. I love that bar shootout scene in Desperado. It's just so over the top ridiculous that it has to be one of the top shootouts ever.

true romance are you sure the guy that played tony is gay in that moive?
becuase the fight between him and that chick was pretty brutal.but
i know that a play gay guy in the mexacin moive and their was not fight like that in thier.

As said before it's HEAT. Very creative, over the top scene

That one set the standard that has yet to be surpassed.

Honorable mention goes to the scene in the parking garage in "The Usual Suspects" where Steven Baldwin simultaneously pops two guys in the head with a gun in each hand.

"Give me the fuckin' keys, you cocksucker".

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
I just saw another great shootout that I've seen in the past but it didn't register @ the time I was thinking of my favorite shootout scene's...

*State of Grace* (starring Sean Penn and Gary Oldham)... the scene @ the end of the movie when Sean Penn's character goes too kill the person who murdered Jackie and that would be Jackies older brother!!

Not that the shootout was spectacular or the slow motion effect and realness of the bullets hitting bodies and everything else that was in the way was really cool.. but the combination of the scene and the MUSIC playing in the background... It was a large band of bagpipers marching down the street during a St. Patricks day parade that was fuckin awesome IMO!!

anybody have any new ones they've recently seen?? if so please share them with us?? :D:hatsoff:

Ash in the S-Mart vs. the demon at the end of "Army of Darkness"- not so much a shootout as some hilarious, awesome work with a lever action rifle.

"Name's Ash.... housewares...."
