My favorite has always been Seventh son of a seventh son , then it's piece of mind a close second .
believe me, most maiden fans do not think beast is their best.To be honest I haven't listened to a lot of Iron Maiden but I voted for "number of the beast", because that's the one most Maiden fans seem to think is the best. At least that's what I heard once.
yep, youre in the minority.Hard choice, I'm a HUGE Maiden fan...but I seem to listen to Piece Of Mind more than others. BTW, I know I'm in a minority here, but I think X Factor is way underrated.
Someone said X-Factor is underrated album and I agree with that.I think if it didn`t say "Iron Maiden" on the cover it would be much more appreciated. It got such a hostile reception just because people didn`t like the thought of Maiden without Bruce.
See, I'm not sure I agree.i dont like paul. to me, maiden isnt maiden without bruce. :2 cents:
when bruce sings songs from the first two albums, he makes those songs his. bruce is able to (at least for me) bring more of the song out than paul was capable of. one of my life wishes is for maiden to re-release iron maiden and killers with bruce singing.See, I'm not sure I agree.
I agree that Paul was no Bruce - but to accept the notion that "There is no Iron Maiden without Bruce" would seem to accept the notion that songs such as "Phantom of the Opera" are 'non-maiden' because Bruce wasn't around then.
bring your daughter to the slaughter. :1orglaughMe? There are many songs sung by Bruce that I love. And there are songs by Paul that I love. Both Paul and Bruce have done mediocre to "horrid" songs.
cant dispute that, nor do i want to.Iron Maiden for me has been an evolving journey - and I've loved every minute of it! And I would really love to place a good chunk of the credit to the bassist - Steve Harris.... he is THE pioneer and THE guiding light; IMHO.
cheers,
