The only 3 albums I purchased this year were Slpknot - All Hope is Gone, Metallica - Death Magnetic, and AC/DC - Black Ice. I enjoyed all 3, however Slipknot was the one out of the bunch that I listened to the most. Definatly my favorite.

for 99% of the albums i know, the title "best selling album" or a position in charts top 10 is more an indicator for crap than for quality. as usual, you won't find creative AND unique moments in mainstream lists.

@masha: try Nancy Sinatra if you like Duffy.

i haven't said anything like that. but after watching a tube some minutes ago, i wouldn't say she's anything like brilliant either. mediocre music, not bad, not outstanding. typical radio friendly music for non deep listeners.

****. I even tried forgetting about the hype and anticipation and it was still ****. The most over produced rock album I've ever heard in my entire life. Nothing authentic or real about it.
