Heat, Insomnia and The Recruit are great too.

As a film, I prefer "The Godfather", but Pacino is better in "Godfather Part II". Unforunately, I overlooked that "Heat" was on the poll until I already voted or I'd have gone for it.

For some reason I really love The Godfather Pt.2. Pacino is excellent in the role of Michael Corleone as he becomes the patriarch for a failing family. He becomes truly evil in this role without a doubt. Never been much of a Scarface face(not really into Brian DePalma as a director-plus Oliver Stone wrote the story and I categorically despise him as a film director and storyteller). I actually like Carlito's Way much better.

Had to choose Scarface. I like the Godfather !/II but he had more criminal action in Scareface. Never seen Carlito's Way so I can't base an opinion on that movie. I thought Dog's Day was almost comedic.
