Beers prices where you are?

Did a search and couldn't find a similar thread...

I love my **** I gotta say, so I was wondering how much for a pint (or equivalent) of **** is where you live?

Here in Dublin a pint of Guinness will cost between €4.25 to €4.60 depending what pub you ***** in. Mostly €4.25 (US$5.64; £3.37)

Outside Dublin a pint of Guinness costs about €3.80 (US$4.78; £3)

Lager **** around €4.80 in Dublin or €4.25 outside Dublin.

Pricy I know :-/

I'm a Guinness drinker tho, so it's not as harsh on my pocket as say a pint of Heineken

I LOVE me some Guinness Extra Stout, or, better yet, Guinness Foreign Export, but I absolutely loathe that Guinness Draft crap. It's like ******** Budweiser with black food coloring. ukey:

I assume the Elk at €1.20 is at a store rather than a pub? Cheapest pint of **** in a pub here would be Tuborg at €3 odd I believe.

I remember ******** a great **** in PA a few years back called Yuengling! Loved it and I think it was about 5 bucks a pint!

I've never had Yuengling. It's only sold in the East Coast, and the closest I've been to where they sell it since I've been old enough to ***** is Houston. Everybody keeps talking about it like it's the best thing since sliced bread, though. I'll try it one day.

Speaking of good beers, I went to Canadia and Mexico in the past month, and, as I'm prone to doing, I set out on a quest to find good local ****. Holy ****, did I find it! In Vancouver I went to a brewery whose name I can't remember in Gastown (anybody know what I'm talking about?), and I had some of the best brown ale and stout I've ever had. In Mexico I went to this place called the **** Factory, which serves a proper stout called Luna Llena, a kick ass brown ale called Santa Fe, and a decent pale ale called Coyote. I would definitely recommend any of the above to anyone. :glugglug:

Gastown! Great name to have a **** factory! lol I've had Santa Fe once and I concur with your experiences of said ****!

You are a bit like me, when I trave,l I too like to enjoy the local beers!

Hmmm... I don't know if I'd consider having Korean **** a "benefit", but I suppose I can't knock it until I've tried it. After all, one of my favorite lagers, 33 Export, comes from that part of the world.

Speaking of Asian beers, have you tried Asahi Kuronama? That's about the best stout made east of Dublin.

The Gastown Brewery is Steamworks. (steamworks.com) Right next to the Waterfont Skytrain/Seabus Terminal. Oh yes, nice patio, good food, pretty girls...

I've been on Big Surf Laid Back Lager this summer. (bigsurfbeer.com) Tasty, refreshing with mellow hangovers. You can't buy anything cheaper at $7.99 for a 6 pack from our government ****** stores. If it gets popular and they jack up the price, I'll be back on Bowen Island Lager or the Saftebury beers.
