Beers prices where you are?

Did a search and couldn't find a similar thread...

I love my beer I gotta say, so I was wondering how much for a pint (or equivalent) of beer is where you live?

Here in Dublin a pint of Guinness will cost between €4.25 to €4.60 depending what pub you drink in. Mostly €4.25 (US$5.64; £3.37)

Outside Dublin a pint of Guinness costs about €3.80 (US$4.78; £3)

Lager beer around €4.80 in Dublin or €4.25 outside Dublin.

Pricy I know :-/

I'm a Guinness drinker tho, so it's not as harsh on my pocket as say a pint of Heineken

Guinness
if you buy it in store
USD 3,00
€2,39
GBP 1,90
20 kr (swedish money)

in a pub

USD 7,49
€ 5,99
GBP 4,74
50 kr

my favorite beer is is Elk
USD 1,50
€1,20
GBP 0,95
10,50 kr

it the best swedish beer

A pint here is anywhere between $3 and $7 bucks, depending on the place and type of beer.

The Guinness that they serve in Ireland, is it the good, thick stout, or is it the crappy piss water that they call "Guinness Draft" in the US? I LOVE me some Guinness Extra Stout, or, better yet, Guinness Foreign Export, but I absolutely loathe that Guinness Draft crap. It's like drinking Budweiser with black food coloring. :pukey:

Fuck! Almost €6 for a draft Guinness in a pub!! wow that is steep!

I assume the Elk at €1.20 is at a store rather than a pub? Cheapest pint of beer in a pub here would be Tuborg at €3 odd I believe.

Budweiser ... no no no! That's just not enjoying your beer!

The Guinness here is your proper creamy stout! Mother's milk!

I remember drinking a great beer in PA a few years back called Yuengling! Loved it and I think it was about 5 bucks a pint!

Here's a Guinness pic I took yesterday! The perfect pint :D

The experience would and could only be improved by having a hot girl suck you off as you enjoyed drinking it! :D

Mmm... My mouth is watering... :drool2:

I remember drinking a great beer in PA a few years back called Yuengling! Loved it and I think it was about 5 bucks a pint!

I've never had Yuengling. It's only sold in the East Coast, and the closest I've been to where they sell it since I've been old enough to drink is Houston. Everybody keeps talking about it like it's the best thing since sliced bread, though. I'll try it one day. :)

Speaking of good beers, I went to Canadia and Mexico in the past month, and, as I'm prone to doing, I set out on a quest to find good local beer. Holy shit, did I find it! In Vancouver I went to a brewery whose name I can't remember in Gastown (anybody know what I'm talking about?), and I had some of the best brown ale and stout I've ever had. In Mexico I went to this place called the Beer Factory, which serves a proper stout called Luna Llena, a kick ass brown ale called Santa Fe, and a decent pale ale called Coyote. I would definitely recommend any of the above to anyone. :glugglug:

Hmmm... I don't know if I'd consider having Korean beer a "benefit", but I suppose I can't knock it until I've tried it. After all, one of my favorite lagers, 33 Export, comes from that part of the world.

Speaking of Asian beers, have you tried Asahi Kuronama? That's about the best stout made east of Dublin.

Have indeed - actually spent a few years living in Japan!

BTW - that North Korean beer is far superior to the shit they serve south of the border. South Korean beer is piss!

The Gastown Brewery is Steamworks. (steamworks.com) Right next to the Waterfont Skytrain/Seabus Terminal. Oh yes, nice patio, good food, pretty girls...

I've been on Big Surf Laid Back Lager this summer. (bigsurfbeer.com) Tasty, refreshing with mellow hangovers. You can't buy anything cheaper at $7.99 for a 6 pack from our government liquor stores. If it gets popular and they jack up the price, I'll be back on Bowen Island Lager or the Saftebury beers.

Cheers everyone, here's to summertime and the livin's easy!

Case of premium beer $38-45 Keith's, Guinness

Carling! :-/

I'd have to go with the Rolling Rock lol

You can get a case of 20 Miller for about €15 (around $19) in some stores here
