Beavis & Butthead Are Coming Back!

Mike, baby, stick to making movies doll (I liked Idiocracy, I really did). B&B are dead and buried. To dig them up now would just be unleashing two, rotting corpses on the market. It'll be embarrassing.

Bring back Daria!!!

They need to bring back Duckman and also finally complete Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors so I can finally get to sleep at nights. :weeping:

Was King of the Board for a Day
I'm happy to see them coming back, what with King of the Hill now gone, we need another Mike Judge show now, even if it's one that's not new per say. Ah, fond memories of the 90's.

Dah-dah-nuh-nuh-dah-nuh-nah-nah!

Why did you have to be so mean to me? :crying:

I wasn't. Just pointing out that people who graduated high school in the early 90s are still playing X-Box and collecting Transformers. It's a weird that this generation is the first to carry out their childhood into their 30s.

I'm not even saying it's a bad thing, but Hollywood is aware how much our peers wants to see things from their childhood plucked from temporary obscurity to be made new again. Right now directors are working on a 3rd Transformers movie and a Smurfs movie. We will not move on.

Man, some of those 90s videos were horrific. As great as the "grunge era" was, there were a whole lot of shitty bands that ripped off the big videos to point where it was mind numbing. Grainy candid footage and people throwing bottles in the street...bands aping the Blackhole Sun video...dying fish flapping out of water. There was a lot to hate and a lot to make fun of. So it'll be nice to see Judge get back to that.

The thing is, where are videos being shown these days? Honestly, I haven't seen a music video in at least 3 or 4 years.

I don't think that was mean. He simply disagreed.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes. Of course I'll check it out.
Now, will it be ONLY them watching videos, or will there be actual scripted episodes? I personally hated it much of the time when they did videos. I only liked watching the episodes.

You all missed the joke post.

You all missed the joke post.

Probably because it wasn't a funny joke post. :ban:

Nah, I get it now...our pussy generation has feelings. "You hurt my feelings, bro" is now a common phrase. Man o' man...whatever happened to the days of keeping quiet and resolving shit with a knife fight?

oh yeah, the 90s videos were so simple. and yeah, plenty to make fun of as was some of the music. thats the beauty of those things. whats funny is ive always hated watching music videos; but on b&b, i fucking cracked up every time.

as for where they are playing em now? im not sure but they're around. did i mention that i absolutely fucking despise mtv? thats another shitty aspect of the show coming back: i really REALLY do NOT want to watch mtv.

on the other hand, you have to trust mike judge. im not texan, im not a tool guy, but ill be fucked if king of the hill isnt a really fucking good show!

all i can really do is have faith in mike judge and hope he doesnt kill what left before it died.

Can this really work though? I mean wouldn't they have to completely change everything about the show. Things from the early to mid 90's have changed so much from then to now, I just don't see that working this day in age. It worked for it's time, but that time is over. Just let it be.
