Be The Czar Of Useless Information

Ejaculate little tidbits of life that will never effect anyone in a positive or negative manner but are still moderately interesting or even enticing.

I'll start.

Did you know Clint Eastwood was originally approached to play Paul Kersey in Death Wish? He turned it down but recommended Gregory Peck.

After the success of Dirty Harry (1971), Clint Eastwood was offered the role of Paul Kersey but declined, feeling he would be poorly cast. He also thought that Gregory Peck would have been right for the part.

Lon Chaney Sr was chilling in London After Midnight and was approached to play Dracula before Bela Lugosi.

IMO, I would have loved to see Chaney Sr as Dracula and also think Lugosi was legendary in the role.

Were it not for his death, Chaney, rather than Bela Lugosi, would have been Tod Browning's choice for the starring role in Dracula (1931).

In the show Deadliest Catch, crabs are actually planted on the seafloor to determine who wins the crab count each season. Also, the weather is CGI faked.

Contrary to popular "belief" ( Bullshit spread online) a group of baboons is not called a 'Congress', it's called a troop.

the strongest muscle in the human body in relation to it's size is the tongue.

which is bullshit. It's all about my pecs. I can bench 225 lbs for 20-30 reps depending on how motivated I am.

The planet Saturn is the least dense planet in the solar system.
It's density is only 2/3 that of water - so if one could find a body of water big enough to contain it, rather than sink, Saturn would float.

Let me celebrate the middle of the week - called colloquialy "Bergfest" (Hillfest) in german work places with two random facts:

1. Karaoke means "empty orchestra" in Japanese.

Feel free to insert your image of FreeOnes as the place across the Mersey

2. The Neanderthal's brain was bigger than yours is.

Well, looking at most of us members here, that is proven.
