What ever went wrong in the Baywatch series? I konw it hasn't been made for over a long time and not everybody cares as much as they'd used to be, but here a few good pointers of what made the series quality go down.
We all know that Baywatch was looking at cameltoes, nippels, cleavage and asscleavage covered in spandex. But what went really wrong?
1 ) Baywatch started out great with Erika Eleniak's cameltoe in the first episode.
Remember her wearing that incredibly thight bikini? What was greater is that filmed her up close from top to bottom, pressing the camera almost against her belly.
2 ) Over the years Baywatch got extra's who only filled roles, like the gorgous blond haired big breasted girl in episode 2.3 This is an example, but there were a lot of these gilrs filling screentime more than 10 seconds.
3 ) After that they added more playmate-like bodyguards; Pamela, nicole, Yasmine, Donna, Traci, Marliece, Carmen and probably one or two more. They all got great screentime and the camera pressed almost against their spandex suits, making it able to see just about anything.
4 ) What i like best were those clips with a nice song in the background, which made it almost look like a playmate clip, excluding the nudity.
This went on for almost 9 years, and then came Baywatch Hawaii....
Really sad? Great, Krista "Emmanuelle" Allen, Stacy Kamono, Brandy roderick and a few other chicks. But they were missing the essence...
1) If you really look at the time when Stacy or Brande or whoever walks by it is not a lot compared to the original Baywatch. And when they walk by, half of the time we can only see a headshot.
No cleavage, no cameltoes, no nipples, and no asscleavage.
2) No playmate-like clips, and half of the episode took place off the beach or in the evening.
And then came *** of the Beach...
This series was a lot shorter and had only 2 attractive main characters, 3 if you count the a-cupped short haired Kim.
1 ) Massive ammounts of chick screentime
2 ) Massive ammounts of cleavage, cameltoes (Thanks to Jamie Bergman), nipples, and asscleavage.
3 ) Some amount of incredibly sexy playmate-like clips.
In a total score I'd say:
Baywatch was the best, although later seasons got less chick time and I'd liked Nicole, Erika, Pamela and Donna better than Marliece, Gena and Carmen.
Baywatch Hawaii has Stacy and Brandy, but you're lucky if you can find a cameltoe on screen.
*** of the beach, bad comedy but Jamie...OMG!!!
In short,...it started great, but in the end it lacked much more of what we wanted to see. And that is why the movie sucked too.
