Battletanks Leopard2 to Afghanistan

Well USA, u wanted us to fight down there with u , there we are .
But almost every day I can read : US-troops attacked by taleban, German-troops attacked by teleban, ....Italian troops, Canadien troops, British troops ...whatever.

So if we HAVE to fight down there ( otherwise I dont see no reason why to defend Germany in Afghanistan ) , why NOT fight the right way : We should send some like 20 Leopards2 who are getting combined with Apache helicopters, and we´ll be finished there within 2 weeks.

And I dont understand something else : WHY could the FBI ( Federal Bureau of inquiries ) and the CIA ( Central of intelligent azzholes ) NOT YET be able to present the head of this Osama bin - azzhole to the rest of the planet ?

Looks to me like you still need him, ... to get rid of ur old weapons ...( cause then u get ur weapon-industry + its workers busy to produce newones ) and ur soldiers also know what they got paid for.???

One can tell me whatever one wants to, but they even found Saddam bin bullshit and sent him a oneway ticket. You even kicked our Adolf into his azzhole ( that was nothin but RIGHT ) .
But with Osama you got probs ....huuuhhh ???:confused::*****::angels:

For understanding for everyone : The Leo2 is the fastest + most powerful and safest Tank on the planet, produced in Germany.

Thought in the english - speaking world they call them : talEban, here we call em talIban, but as far as everyone knows what im talkin´bout .....but thx for correction.

well first thing, thanks for being a snotty douche.

second, theres no point in sending tanks into an area of combat that is mainly hills and mountains. sure, theres been a resurgence of combat in towns in the foothills, but it isnt Iraq. there arent vast cities made of re-bar enforced concrete like in Baghdad. the main problem are the cave networks and uphill fighting that has to be done. the M1 and yea even your precious Leopard2 wont do too well in that environment.

its more of a battle for fast moving hummers, bradley fighting vehicals and your German equivalents. aided by Air units, which you mentioned.

third, CIA yes. FBI no. and yea i caught your dumb ass jokes there.
Saddam was found in a hole near a town, IN A HOLE. thats why it was kinda easy. and Hitler ****** himself, so no hardships there. Bin Laden is in a cave in either Pakistan or Afghanistan. i dont think you quite understand the vastness of the networks that make up those systems, which have been created by ****** nature and carved by the native inhabitants for hundreds of generations. hows about you try walking into that **** and finding him and ending it in "2 weeks"

Yeah, another USA basher. How could you possibly know what goes on with the FBI & CIA, when one doesn't always know what the other is doing? I'm 100% German and 110% American and a former United States Marine. People just need their asses kicked sometimes.

Well, for Osama Bin Laden - he had serious kidney problems and had to have a dialysis every three days, and he probably died some time ago. I do not remember any serious official speaker for any US-intelligence agency to say they really hunt for him any more.

But the thought that they could not fond a guy who was in some kind of hospital every three days says a lot.

Plus, do not tempt our foreign friends (We two being german, all others are foreign ^^ ) on the topic of which tank is best

To me, every other weapon you push into Afghanistan will just make things worse. But well, there is no end of it in sight and it sure helps the industry to make a good bargain and then some. We need some more wars, regarding the economy, plus it helps get all those unemployed people to get a job and get them out of the country and maybe drop dead soem where and you can bring home some more dead heroes and everyone can have a nice little cry and go home feel proud

I agree Sips the fuckers is dead but that doesn't solve anything they've got cells all over the world and they act independently. This fight will go on forever because of the nature of the enemy. The world needs to get used to it.

And I doubt Bin Ladin just walk into St Joseph hospital 3 days a week. He made more discrete arrangements I'm sure.

Well, I´m not talkin about getting Osama within 2 weeks but to become ALL troops a lot safer in the areas where they have to act with the help of Leo2 . To ****** troops the taliban must move to the areas where the troops are ....and they do so. Just the presence of some Leo´s ( or Abraham´s ) should help . To get Osama is maybe a fault of *pedestrians* ??

But this almost takes 10 years now ....

i never said there werent main battle tanks in Afghanistan, both the Abrams and Leo2 are in country. just not in such significant numbers as Iraq. i merely made the point of their limited effectiveness, both on the battlefield and in the minds of the enemy

It's not about getting Bin Ladin. It's about fighting terrorism. And that is going to take generations!

Well, I know ( a bit ) about the Leo´s ... in *Feinmechanische Werke Mainz * we produced + tested the hydraulic systems for it. I was working there. And the Abrahams uses the cannon of the Leo. But no doubt, both of em are excellent.

Yeah..but does it take an army of Engineers to fix the slightest hiccup the thing encounters.

Germans have notoriously over-engineered a variety of things. They always seem to have a problem balancing what is the best methods in relationship to what is most practical.

The best method isn't always the most practical.:2 cents:

And because of *what* reason is terrorism goin to continue ? Cause of RELIGION ?:rofl:

I think, we´re talkin about big Bucks + Euro´s right here ...

Well, as far as I know every govnmt. on the planet wants it ...and to let ours get rusty over here is not the most practical method either.

Your right about that for sure. The rich will always find ways to get richer off the suffering of others.
