No you are wrong time warner only owns the movie rights.....The comics story is pretty much this

- Marvel was going to go bankrupt....The spider man movies and others got them outta that hole and re-juvenated interest.
- DC in the shit then too.....Marvel buys them out.
- Marvel then for some reason maybe corporate take over or just interest from disney.....Disney buys marvel and by extension owns both.....Hence some of new cartoons with well younger style animation.
