That's about as bad as that guy who fell to his death going after a ball that a player was tossing up into the stands at the Texas Rangers game earlier this year.
Yeah, from one form of child abuse to anotherHehe funny how he lifts her back up by pulling at her leg.

...These idiots are actually dropping kids on their faces just to catch a stupid ball.
Its different.
Yeah, I didn't really mean that the two things were in the same league.....the thing that I meant was that, just like the tragedy at the Rangers game, people totally forget about safety when it comes to getting a $12 souvenir baseball. When you stop to think of it, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. I've gotten foul balls at major & minor league games, but I wouldn't risk my life for one. Granted, at an Orioles game as a kid, I pounced on a ball during batting practice that some mean adult tried to snatch away....so I guess I haven't always been that bright in that regard either.
But the fact remains, a $12 baseball shouldn't be enticing enough to be completely devoid of all sense.
Okay, so what's worse - dropping your kid to catch a foul ball or screening your girlfriend and then bailing out at the last moment so she gets hit instead?
That was dick too, he lost out on some pussay that night you can bet :1orglaugh
