Banned Members Online?

That has happened to me a few times. It's because the mods are power abusive.

Personally I find them very fair and friendly, tolerant.....I could go on if you want. Maybe it's the way you post, that could be the problem. Something you could think about and look at, example your post I've quoted.

Oh well. lol No biggie. I was just curious because I've run into this issue on other boards where I ban someone and it shows them as online, even up to a day later. Perhaps it's because they've kept their browser open and their computer on. That's my suspicion, at least, so I wanted to ask about it.

this is why i stayed away from this board for such a long time... I am sick of members like nightfly being little mini 'mods' roaming the boards and policing trivial things. Who cares, lighten up and let us post stuff about babes and etc like we all do.


well if banned members come back you know what that means....... They like the board!

some people never learn but what can you do? Only spank their ass if they cross the line. some people also think they are better than everyone else and very arrogant but they are not bragging anymore when they receive a lesson and they become quiet. Point is that to have some modesty, to be honest and not behave like an irresponsible teenager is certainly the proper way to behave.

Personally, I think the mods on these boards are very fair and decent. I've been on a few boards very briefly because of authoritarian mods that must have been picked on as little kids or something. Here, I've never found them to be bad at all.

It depends on how badly the person messes up, and to a degree, the intention of the mess up. We do use IP bans when necessary.

FWIW We also do(sometimes) run IP searchs when suspicious posts are made.

Most important for members to know, we don't actively search for members to ban and we don't loose a seconds sleep over a banned member (secretly) returning. My experience shows, that the true nature of the previously banned member always comes out and they get banned again.

i will comment on anything i wish too make. I mean there is a time and place but when i want to say it, that is what a forum is all about. But i remember back in the day Raven bombed the board with so many usernames it was a real problem. Those were the days lol of trying to catch him and his many usernames
