Wow that is pretty respectable. If I had found 8,000 dollars just lying around, I honestly don't know if I'd be able to just hand it over... If I found it on the side of a road somewhere theres no doubt I'd keep it but if I had found it say in a store in one of their deposit bags I would most likely return it. But good for him.

I found a deposit bag a year or so ago. Probably had 4-6,000 in it. Was lost by the manager of the store next to mine. He came in my store that night and was in a total panic looking for it since he had it hidden in a newspaper and it slipped out. To make a long story short, when he got in his car, the bag fell out and underneath his car. When I left my store it was dark out and the bag was right there in the middle of the parking lot after he drove off. I never saw a man so happy to see me walk in with that bag the next day...he was in tears knowing that I just saved his job. I was seriously happier than he was just knowing that he was going to be ok.

That's very honest of him to do. If I was in that situation, I think it would be very hard for me to return the bag.
