Tell you a band that will really make you laugh..
they are called 'The Macc Lads' and their songs are fucking hilarious.
They have a song called 'Fat Bastard' sung to the tune of Sweet's Blockbuster.
Here's the first verse.
'He'll eat your pies, he'll tell you lies,
You wouldn't believe that fat bastard's size
His massive gut is forty foot, it goes dark when he walks in the pub
His buttocks part, you'll smell his farts,

I heartily recommend finding some of their songs to listen to.

if we are talking about witty & creative, then it's country artists like Toby Keith & Shedaisy (although I don't know if they necessarily write their own lyrics) or rappers like Ludacris
