If Kathryn Bigelow has beaten James Cameron at the BAFTA's, then it is probably a safe bet that she will lose to him at the Oscars.

The BAFTA's and the Golden Globes both pretty much exist as ancillary and consolation prizes to the people who, for whatever reason, won't win the Oscar they deserve.
