Bad links/weird redirects all over the place

Lately (the last couple months or more) I've noticed that there are a lot of bad links. I mean a LOT. I'll click on something and it will forward to an ip address, then forward from there to an importer/exporter, the yellow pages, all kinds of weird crap. Sometimes kiddy porn static pages.

What gives with that?

This happens not only on links in the main links directory (I report them by clicking on the bad link button), but also with links posted on the board by users.

I've been messing with all of my various browser settings and such, including turning javascript completely off to eliminate java redirects, but it still happens (on three different browers).

For example clicking on the link in this post which is

http://www.springvids.com/204/gallery619.html

goes immediately to two different ip addresses, then to wisebunny.com, then to heavy.com

I want to be clear that I'm not singling out the post above, this happens with probably 2 out of 3 links that I click on all over the board and in the directory.

I also tried copying the link, going to a completely different browser and pasting it in (to defeat a possible script from the referrer), and the same thing happens.

Is ANYONE else having this happen? It's driving me nuts, and this is the only place I get this stuff happening. I even used a completely different computer from a completely different ISP just to see if there was something going on with this one - same thing.

I would serisouly suggest to do a scan on your system as this sounds like something on your side. Probably some sort of redirecting piece of software wich is installed on your system.

Also I have no problems clicking the link you provided in your post. I agree with Roald that You Might have spyware installed on your system, which is hijacking your browser-requests. Try the above spyware-scanner (Spybot) or try Ad-Aware...

You guys were right.

MacScan showed that I had the DNSChanger trojan on this computer.

It will interesting to see if the other computers have it as well.

All the links appear to be operating correctly again! :)
