Back from a crappy date

don't feel to bad, plenty of fish in the sea.
for example

the last date i had was with this girl named sandy.
i took her to this real dive for a few sex on the beach's.

her boyfriend gil showed up, big guy covered in mussels.
he used to play for the dolphins, now he play bass in a band.
when he saw me he got pretty crabby, actually steamed.
he called me a shrimp, I told him to clam up but he wouldn't so i nailed him with a sucker punch flat as a mackeral

it was a fluke but it did the job.
now here i am in my pineapple, i mean house drinking like a.........
but dont worry much about that guy tonight, he seems really shellfish.

Oh yeah....that is part of the issue.....I drank too much to compensate. Too many beers and now I am paying for it!

That's usually a first date no-no. Don't drink too much! I've learned that. It usually doesn't impress. But if that guy was that bad, I'd do the same if it was a girl doing that bad.

I remember as a first date I took the girl to a bar and grill where my roommate was a bartender. We were eating and having a few beers but my roommate could tell I was not enjoying myself. So he started charging everything to her because she had mentioned she had to leave early to go study and she paid without the knowledge of paying everything for me and then after she left I got free drinks til closing time

Anyone else ever have that? We're still awesome friends but it's just one of those relationships. By the way, having a wing-woman at the bars or clothes shopping is awesome

The funny thing is that she's engaged now but every time we're together people always assume we're getting married. Of course it makes me wonder if we should have maybe tried a little harder but I'm still satisfied with our relationship and am not afraid to say my best friend is a woman and she tells her fiance that I'm her best friend. (by the way, the fiance doesn't think too highly of me) Sometimes awkward

She tells me she wishes I was gay so that it'd be more easily explainable to him
