Awe Inspiring Natural Marvels

Thanks for adding to my list of places to visit :)

Many thanks for the interest in this thread, have been getting loads of feedback on this saying how much. Special thanks to "Paulinator" for great contributions and extreme enthusiasm. I will very soon add some further places (I have a book full of these, just a matter of doing some research etc) which I will be continually adding to this thread.

These natural beauties are overlooked because people choose to go to cities and be entertained by local nightclubs. Also, many of these sites are in lesser known countries.

Yes unfortunately perhaps too many of us prefer the familiarity of more urban places to venture out and explore places like this. There are several US based wonders (which I will post soon) allowing US guys perhaps the opportunity to visit these.

I was always fascinated by those huge salt flats in America - Utah, if I remember right. The ones they use for the land speed records cause they're so naturally vast and flat.

I've flown over those things. They're definitely vast, and just after those is the Great Salt Lake, which is also quite a view from an airplane.

Yes your both correct this is that very same place.

Thanks for adding to my list of places to visit :)

If I have inspired you to visit at least one or two of these then that can only be a good thing.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Love the Iguaçu Falls picture. It's on my long list of places to see before I die. But I have to be honest, when I saw the thread title, I was certain you were going to be posting some Michelle Marsh pics...

bump!

Seeing all these pics, it really is no wonder why, back in ancient times, they had no reasonable explanations and said the supernatural did it or created it
