Here is yet another example of a previously popular singer or an actor or musician, a person in the arts, who once famously popular, is slandered and pulled down after their popularity wanes.
At one point everyone loves him or her. A few years later the people are tearing into that person like vultures.
We had a similar thread about Madonna recently.
People with nothing better to do I guess.
It is a trend.

I resent that remark. I have consistently slandered her as long as she's been in the spotlight. I did the same thing with Madonna because I've hated her for decades. Avril Lavigne is to music what Paris Hilton is to acting and that opinion will never change even if she gets her nipples pierced.

I got front row tickets to her tour last year. Straight out of the monkey suite to the show. A couple beers made me tolerate the music to drool at her. She did put on a hell of a show.
