I have done a lot of work on cars over the years. Even had a home based paint shop for a while in the 80's. Not a pro by any means but I guess it would be called respectable. Lots of separate skill for sure. My ex *******-in-Laws ****** made his living and raised his ****** by restoring Model A's One or two a year. he was an expert. Now the cost of restorations is so immense it is almost pointless for most people to attempt. And most are not really interested anymore anyway. You're right, at least when it comes to things like the vintage European cars. A lot of classic American iron is owned by ultra rich douche bags too, but if you don't need your Super Bee to have a Hemi, or your Camaro to be a Yenko, you can find some at a decent price. might be a driver, and not a show piece, but I can deal with showing it off. The guys into restorations, are the ones that have the best of both worlds. Buy a fixer upper cheap, restore her back to factory. I would love to have that skill.
SOLD OUT....already! Every last one of the 112 scheduled production run, at 2.64 million dollars each.I've been debating starting a car / gear-head thread for a while now. What better time to do so, now that news has been announced that Lamborghini will be remaking the Countach!

Maybe if I could pair it with a transmission to make it a pulling machine, for a 3/4 or 1 ton pick up truck. Putting that in a car would just cause me to lose my license, or die.
