Its a party town, as well as a photo town (lots of photographers and organizations) which works for me...plus I haz family there.
AND its located amazing...equal distances to Toronto, the US, Niagara (another fav place), only a few hrs from cottage country....all without the huge price tag that comes along with having to live anywhere in the GTA. I can rent an executive apartment for HALF of what a 1 bedroom basement would cost in downtown Toronto. Fuck no. I'm a professional, not a fucking slut. Do you actually think that happens?

No, there wouldn`t be a point in moving to NY or MI...why move to get shitty healthcare, and still suffer from the same crappy winters lol. The US doesn't offer me anything better than Canada does, in fact it would take away some of the amazing things I get here in Canada. Plus, it'd just be a hassle to try to get a Visa/Greencard. Wouldn't be worth it. The only way I'd ever live in the US, is if I had a condo somewhere warm where I could escape to during the winter.
Michigan fucking scares me. I got lost in a REALLY bad neighborhood in Detroit, all the cars parked on the streets had bullet holes in them, people had bars on the windows and doors and I got nasty looks from everyone I drove past. I didn't think I was gonna make it out of there alive

I missed out on all that talk of Ontario lol... I used to live an hour west of Kingston, and I'd say its the best place in Ontario to be. You aren't too far away from Toronto, theres tons of wineries if you are into that, housing is cheap, Kingston isn't far either (hottest girls in Ontario seem to live there lol) plus all the gorgeous scenery you could want is only a 5 minute drive from anywhere.

Even in the low crime areas of Michigan the state just has nothing to offer anybody. I try to warn anybody that's even remotely thinking about moving here. It has some good scenery in some places and that's about it. It might be a good place to live for somebody that's already rich and doesn't have to worry about work for the rest of their lives and doesn't mind the cold and snow. For almost everybody else it's become a hell hole, and it's getting worse all the time.

Yeah, I've been to MI several times and all over the state and nothing really jumped out at me. The only reason why I go there in the first place is to shop at stores that aren't in Canada (Kohl's, VS, etc) and to attend cheaper concerts.

Depends on what you're using it for...if you have celebrities, pornstars that you're interested in hearing about/from, then it might be worth it. If you want to network for your job or whatever, then its worth it. But other than that, not much else its used for lol
