The best bet in the casino is to play blackjack with perfect strategy and an ability to count cards without being caught. Not many people can do that and those who can would earn more money spending their time at a more legitimate job. All that having been said, the casino is still fun even if you lose a little, at least for me. It is no fun if you lose a lot.
